VMS 2400-8R vacuum lifter
Self-priming vacuum lifter VMS 2400-8R of 2,400 kg with 8 suction cups of Ø 400 mm, for sheet metal and slabs up to 9,000 × 2,000 mm. Eight Ø 400 mm cups on a long cross-beam: nine metres of sheet and 2.4 tonnes, the size for steel service centres and heavy structural steelwork. The vacuum is created by the movement of the hoist itself: lower the hook and the vacuum lifter grips, set the load down and the grip releases. No power, no compressed air and no batteries to recharge are needed, and release cannot happen while the piece is suspended. Materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, glass, plastic, stone and wood with a closed, sealed surface.
Minimum workpiece size 850 × 850 mm, minimum thickness 2 mm on steel, minimum load 20 kg. Own weight 480 kg. It can be fitted with shut-off valves: by isolating the cups that fall outside the workpiece, smaller formats can be handled without losing the vacuum.
