Glass panes, sheet metal, marble, sandwich and insulated panels: any smooth, non-porous surface. The choice depends on weight, dimensions and how the piece is laid (flat or vertical).
Are vacuum lifters safe in the event of a power cut?
Attollo vacuum lifting beams have a vacuum reservoir, a check valve and an audible/visual alarm: in the event of a power cut the load stays attached for long enough to be made safe.
What capacities do vacuum lifting beams cover?
From battery models of 300-400 kg for panels through to powered lifting beams for slabs and coils of several tonnes, with rotation and tilting too.
Are the vacuum lifters CE certified?
Yes, every vacuum lifting beam complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and with EN 13155 for vacuum lifting equipment.
