VMS 1200-8VR vacuum lifter

Autonomous mechanical vacuum lifter VMS 1200-8VR of 1,200 kg with 8 suction cups of Ø 340 mm, for sheet metal and slabs up to 6,000 × 2,000 mm. Long cross-beam with transverse arms and eight cups: it carries the grip out to the ends of a six-metre sheet and at the same time widens it across, which the beam alone cannot do. The vacuum is created by the movement of the hoist itself: lower the hook and the vacuum lifter grips, set the load down and the grip releases. No power, no compressed air and no batteries to recharge are needed, and release cannot happen while the piece is suspended. Materials: sheets and plates of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic, polyethylene, plexiglass and polycarbonate plates, stone, marble and granite slabs with a ground surface, glass panels and plates of every size, wooden panels with an airtight surface treatment. In general, any smooth, non-porous surface.

Minimum workpiece size 3,000 × 850 mm, minimum thickness 2 mm on steel, minimum load 10 kg. Own weight 284 kg. It can be fitted with shut-off valves: by isolating the cups that fall outside the workpiece, smaller formats can be handled without losing the vacuum.
