Multi-beam system for gantry cranes (BAS)
The BAS system links two ASB gantry cranes with a central beam, turning two parallel spans into a single protected working area. The trolleys move on the side beams and on the central one, so the pick-up point reaches any point in the space instead of being tied to a single line.
To build the system you need two ASB gantry cranes, two BAS100-300 connecting brackets and a central beam of the length you want, chosen from the same range as the ASB beams (from 200 to 700 cm). Assembly is the same as the rest of the range: by hand, with no auxiliary plant.
This is the configuration for working over an extended footprint — a tank, a railway wagon, a machine under maintenance — where a single gantry would mean moving the equipment at every step. The inner trolleys for personnel and the outer ones for goods can be fitted in any combination, provided the maximum capacity of the gantry is not exceeded.
